Playing Catch-Up

So I know it's been a while since I've posted. But we haven't really been very exciting these days. For the 4th of July we had some friends over for a BBQ. The kids had a great time swimming in our little blow up pool in the backyard. The adults had a great time staying in the A/C house. After the BBQ I had to head to work. Rich was the good dad and took the girls to see fireworks. I don't think they'd let him get away without doing that, that's all they talked about all day was seeing fireworks. I'd have to agree that's my favorite part of the 4th of July. They had a great time and the next morning when I got home they told me all about the fireworks. Their were some sweet people there that were willing to share their POPS with the girls. That just made their night. They told me all about their favorite ones and the colors and the shapes. They even tried to immitate the finally for me. It was a lot of boom boom boom! They are so funny. I'm glad they had fun. I wish I could have been their to see them for myself. Maybe next year.
