Well I'm a little behind. But I couldn't forget to post about Maren's 3rd Birthday. That's right Maren turned 3 on wednsday. I can't believe my baby is 3. She's been so excited for her birthday to come she asked almost everyday if it was her birthday. And would be so disappointed when I'd tell her no. Wednsday morning she woke up and came into my room while I was making my bed, I said " Maren it's your birthday, Happy Birthday !" She looked around the room for a little bit and looked at me and said, "I Free!" I said, "Yes, it's your birthday!" She was so excited. Well about 30 minutes later Paige woke up and came into my room and saw Maren and said, "she doesn't look like she's 3! I looked at Paige and said "what does 3 look like?" She immediately responded " I don't know, but it doesn't look like her!" Maren then said, " I'm Free, it's my birfday!" Only Paige. I was laughing so hard. You never know what is going to come out of her mouth. I swear that brain of hers never stops. Anyways, the rest of the day was fun. We went to McDonalds for lunch with some of her friends and then that evening we had some friends over for a BBQ and an easter egg hunt. It was alot of fun. The kids really seemed to have a lot of fun. After dinner Maren opened her presents, and then we enjoyed some cake and ice cream, yumm-o! Maren was laughing so hard she couldn't blow out her candles. So I tried helping her but she made me start laughing I couldn't blow out the candles. After several attempts we finally got the candles out. I don't know what that means for her wish though. Thanks to everyone for coming, we sure had a lot of fun. After all the excitment it was time for bed, the girls were exhausted which made for an easy bed time. Maren had to sleep with her favorite present, that's right candy neckleces. Anyone who knows Maren she is a candy-a-holic! Does anyone know of a meeting I can take her to. I've never seen a kid that likes candy like she does. Holy cow, she's crazy. Today I took Maren to the Dr.'s for her yearly check up. She only weighs 30 pounds (50th percentile)and is 41 inches tall ( 97th percentile). I never thought she was that tall until I look at her next to kids her age. I just thought she was a little on the tall side. But that's not what the Dr. said. She's definetely on the tall side. So we have a tall girl coming our way. Maren I hope you had a great birthday! I can't believe you are already 3 it seems like I just had you. You are so sweet and so special, we love having you in our family. HAPPY BIRFDAY! We love you Mar Bear!
