Abby's Birthday Party

This past weekend we did Abby's birthday party. We did it a little early because she wanted to see the Jonas Brothers 3D movie. It is only out for 1 week and started on friday. So saturday we took Abby and 10 of her friends to the festivities. Since one of Abby's friends didn't show up Rich was so lucky to be able to enjoy the concert with us. My friend Jen Ekins came to help me contain all the girls. You can only imagine 100 girls in a movie theater watching the Jonas Brothers. There was lots of screaming and girls yelling I love you Jonas Brothers or I love you Joe, Nick, or Kevin. It was pretty funny. It took me back to the NKOTB ( New Kids on the Block). Maren surprisingly fell asleep through all the screaming and yelling. She slept through most of the movie. I couldn't believe it. We had a lot of fun. After the movie we walked to Dairy Queen which was just at the other end of the mall. So the girls got to choose what they wanted and enjoyed eating them while we sat outside on the grass and watched Abby open her presents. All in all it was a big success. I think all the girls had a great time. Thank you Jen for all your help. I don't think I could have done it all by myself.
