The Johnson Family

Today is Jenn's 30th birthday. We took her out to celebrate at Texas Roadhouse, followed by ice cream at her favorite place, Cold Stone. Our friend Penny was able to join us with her three kids, so we had quite the group. Six kids and three adults. Our friend Sarah happened to be our waitress (thanks for taking such good care of us, Sarah!) which the girls were very excited about. Sarah even talked the four older girls into coming out of the booth and dancing with the waitresses.

One of the traditions at Texas Roadhouse is that when someone goes there to celebrate their birthday, they must sit in a saddle while a waitress announces their birthday to the entire restaurant. Jenn had warned me before going in was that I was not to tell them it was her birthday. Well, since Sarah turned out to be our waitress there was no getting away from it. Maybe next time she'll reconsider having her friend be her server, LOL!

Of course, the kids had to have their turn on the saddle too.
