I meant to post this yesturday, but as usual didn't get around to it. For the past few weeks Abby would keep asking Rich and I who we were voting for? We'd just turn the question back on her and ask her who she was voting for? She would always say McCain. Well on tuesday she asked again and I finally told her I was voting for McCain also. She said "good so am I," what about daddy? I told her she'd have to ask him. So after school all she wanted to know about was the election and who was winning. She was so disappointed when we didn't know who was going to win before she went to bed. Wednesday morning she woke up and immediatley asked who won? I told her Obama. Her reaction if you could imagine was, "NOOOOOOOO, that means there won't be any christmas and there won't be halloween next year. But mom he only had 24% of the vote yesterday at school. That's not enough to win." I simply told her that the rest of the country felt otherwise. She continued the rest of the morning until the bus came pouting and mouping about it. When she got home from school she continued with the same reaction saying I still can't believe he won. She said some one at school said they were going to do the election over and then McCain would win. It cracks me up what these kids think. It sure was a good laugh. Simply a priceless moment. You're so cute Abby.
