Ever since we bought the house 2 years ago we've been wanting to expand our pantry. For some dumb reason the builder didn't do it themselves instead they decided to leave a bunch of dead space behind the excisting pantry. What a bunch of moron's. So we finally got around to being able to do it. It started out that Rich was going to help a friend of ours who is a contractor, and then turned into Brett pretty much doing it himself. Thank goodness otherwise it may have taken even longer then it did. It really didn't take that long it just feels like it when you are living with your pantry in your living room. Brett tore down the wall and then framed it up a bit and then put sheet rock up. Rich did help with this. Then we hired somebody else to come in and texture the walls. Then it was up to me to have to sand the walls so they'd be ready to paint. What a mess that makes. Then my dad came in and did the tile work and helped rich with the base boards. He did a great job with the tile and they both did a great job with the base boards. After the tile was set for a few days brett came back and did all the shelves and then we had someone come in and paint all of them. I thought I was going to but after seeing all the shelves and having to do it without a sprayer it was a bit intimidating. It added about 12 more feet to our pantry. Now that it is done, we love our new pantry.
