Labor Day Weekend

So Rich's parents came this last weekend to visit for the holiday weekend. It sure is nice to have them visit. We always have so much fun together. Saturday we took the kids to Peter Piper Pizza for lunch. The kids had a blast playing games and winning tickets. Although their favorite game was the claw game that picked up candy. Oh well! What do you expect from a 7,4, and 2 year old.

Saturday evening we went to dinner to celebrate an early birthday for Rich. We went to one of our favorite. The Texas Roadhouse. Yummy, I know! That evening we came home and Rich and his dad enjoyed a great game of football (on the WII). Sunday we had a BBQ since we wouldn't be able to on Monday. After dinner we had FHE and then ended it with a birthday cake for Don and Rich. After that we played a mean game of SORRY. We had a lot of fun.

Monday we spent some time shopping and hanging out with eachother. Here is a picture with the girls and their buddy Jesse, before leaving to the airport.
Thank you to Don and Ellen and Jesse for coming and spending the weekend with us. We had so much fun. Abby,Paige, and Maren always love having somebody grandparents here to give their undevided attention to them. We sure do cherish the memories we make when they come. Poor Jesse got pestered by the girls, but he was a great sport. Thank you Jesse. The kids loved you. It was so sad when we dropped everyone off at the airport. The girls were all crying wondering when they'd come back. Thanks guys you made a great weekend for us. We miss you already!
