1st Day of School

Today was the first day of school for Abby. She was so excited. She's starting the 2nd grade. I can't believe it. She's grown up so fast. It was a big day for her, being that she was starting in a new school as well. Luckily she was excited for the change. Abby is so outgoing and makes friends easily, so I'm not to worried about her. Her teachers name is Ms. Grosclose, and she seems to be pretty nice. We'll see what we have to look forward to soon enough I'm sure. Abby's excited that she gets to ride the bus. Today I took her to school since it was the first day. But starting tomorrow she's on the bus. She asked me tonight if I'd still walk her to the bus stop. Of course, I'm not going to throw her to the wolves that quickly. We're so proud of you Abby. Keep up the good work.

Wow! I am not sure how I will handle it when my children start going to school. I'm sure she will have no problem making new friends.

How are you settling in? I want to come see you now that our school is going to start soon - (retro-active VT'ing...ha ha.)
Your new place is beautiful! I bet you love it! We miss you here!

Jealous!! School doesn't start in Dixieland until Aug. 12th. I almost moved down to QC and it would have been July 21st. But, it looks like we got the new house rented out instead. My Diamond Valley friends put up a huge fight with me trying to move. I am dead serious. They were persistent ---not even kidding. So, I am staying put for now. It's probably good for the kids not to hop around. Will miss out on the AZ buds though --- not to mention my desire for Mex food! Desert Mountain is an awesome school. Abby girl will love it --- she is getting so grown up. She is such a sweet girl. Good luck! Miss you!
