Bear Lake

Today was full of fun. We went up to the cabin in Bear Lake. The drive up there was amazing. When you live in Arizona you forget how beautiful summer can be. Driving through the canyon is always so beautiful. The girls loved seeing the mountains. When we got there we stayed at the cabin for lunch and then headed down to the lake. Of course you can't go to Bear Lake without going to get a shake. So we stopped at the Hometown Drive In and got the all famous raspberry shakes. I think Maren enjoyed this the most out of all the girls. Then it was off to the lake. we sat on the beach and let the kids play in the water. I really didn't think they'd play much so I didn't take my suit. I wish I would have because they had such a great time. Maren found a spot in the water and probably sat there for at least 30 minutes. Abby and Paige had a lot of fun looking for sea shells. They found quite a bit, and of course we had to bring them home with us. After the lake we went back to the cabin and took the kids on a four wheeler ride. Or as Paige called them "2 Wheelers." We had a great time riding the trails. So much fun it actually put Maren to sleep. We sure had a lot of fun hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa Spriet and Jen and her kids. On our way home from the cabin Paige said " I had so much fun, we have to buy some 2 wheeler's so all my friends can go on a ride, right Abby!" It was very cute. Now we are back at Jerry and Sheryl's and the kids just collapsed in there beds. It sure was a great day.
